Job description: Our client, a multinational company is looking to recruit an ambitious, self-motivated, and career-oriented Field Support Engineer. Ideal candidate would be the one who would have knowledge and experience to service Industrial Level Print Engines on at least one or multiple from offset technology, inkjet technology, high end EP technology.

Experience required:

  • Minimum 5 Years’ experience to provide Field Technical Support to Offset, High End EP or Inkjet Technology
  • Preferred field service experience with inkjet products

Academic Qualification:

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering


  • Candidate should be able to handle DTP (Desk Top Publishing) applications
  • Candidate should have good knowledge of Microsoft applications computer skills with emphasis on related print industry application such as handling Digital Print Workflow, Handling RIP, Working with Color Management Solutions and Creating Job Ticket etc
  • Candidate should be well versed in English Language and Arabic would be an added advantage

Management Skills:

  • Candidate should have skills to manage Customers
  • Candidate should have skills to execute workflow from Delivery, Installation and User Training
  • Candidate should have skills to engage and correspond with the Technical Team at HQ and execute the strategy in the correct and precise manner
  • Excellent communication skills, teamwork, customer focus time management, organised, strong desire to grow and learn, willingness to take on new challenges

Role and Responsibilities:

This description for Role and Responsibilities is an initial guideline and may be modified as and when Business would demand

  • Field Support Engineer. Responsibility include but not limited to: Delivery Assistance, Un Packaging, Commissioning, Installation, User Training and Unlimited Post Installation. Technical Support includes diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues on site support and repair
  • FSE would be the window person with Technical Team at HQ to intake knowledge, escalate technical issues and apply the instructions correctly ..(communicate technical issues to service technical support team)
  • FSE would accept all Job requirements including extensive travel in the region; GCC. Longer stay up to 3 months would be required in any of the countries within the region
  • FSE should be prepared to relocate permanently to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia whenever the company decides for this relocation. In this case of relocation, responsibility for technical support will be full product portfolio of Production and Industrial Print
  • Working on weekends and overtime required as needed for installations, service calls and customer training
  • FSE would be required to assist Sales/ Business Development Team with both within the company and Partners as Pre-Sales Support
  • FSE would be required to perform Product Demonstrations to Potential Customers and help Customers with File preparation and Sample testing
  • FSE should be ready to learn and support other Products within Product Portfolio
  • Manage and complete all preventative maintenance requirements to the machine in field (including parts management if applicable)
  • Perform pre installation assessment and also site inspection
  • Complete and submit service activity report information timely to the appropriate manager
  • FSE would be responsible for Parts Inventory maintained at Accurate logistics with In Out and Replenishment will be required
