The business manufactures a range of variable flow solutions, traditional valves, safety valves, boiler valves, sight flow equipment and compression fittings. Products for the Water Sector, include a range of pipe connectors, couplings and adaptors, as well as repair products and equipment for flow control. The ideal candidate will be responsible to provide Commercial support and Technical Support for our Channel Partners in the Export Region. Share responsibility alongside external sales and management to convert current opportunities into orders and shipments in a proactive way, providing technical support, processing orders, providing stock availability information and resolving customer concerns using the company’s Claims process. To undertake administration relating to MEA and Asia activities. To identify and suggest opportunities to make departmental procedures more efficient and always look to improve personally and as a Team. Important: Industry Experience: Internal Sales Engineer with Building Services and Utilities experience Experience in dealing with the Asia region Principle Responsibilities: .Preparing quotes, dealing with customer enquiries for MEA and Asia. .Logging / managing of the Quotations and initial follow up in Quote Log. .Inputting the Quotes/Creating opportunities on SFDC .Prioritize quotations as per the guidance listed under Quote Turnaround KPI metric. .First line technical support, ascertaining the correct information to ensure a timely offer can be prepared and to specification. .Support customers on technical queries for Product Selection, Compliance Statements and Reply to Consultant Comments on Project Submittals. .Liaise with Engineering, Technical and Product Management team for Product Technical support. .To ensure that no quotes are issued to customers unless the correct authorization has been received and can be demonstrated to have been received. .Submit Quote margin analysis with justification for management review. .Complete Competition analysis when requested on projects working closely with ASM/RSL. .Process Orders as per SOP. Follow best practices to ensure orders are dated in line with QAD lead time / Supply Chain comments to ensure accuracy of due dates confirmed to customer. .Ensure that all customer concerns are logged in the Concern System on priority basis. Ensure follow-up to resolve customer concerns within the timeframe guidance provided under Concern System KPI metric. .Gather market information disseminating to appropriate members of sales and marketing team. .Support shipment related requests .Take part in the Export Sales Forecast Weekly Meeting. Lead the Export Forecast meeting and report out to the Business as and when required. .Prepare and Submit Weekly Report on timely manner. .Take Part in monthly KPI reviews and own actions to close gaps. .Always file electronically, Quotes, Orders and Margin Reports in the prescribed manner so that they can be found quickly and easily by any member of the Sales Team. .Participate in activities to maintain the accuracy QAD data pertaining to customers. .Demonstrate strong Team Player attitude and integrity throughout all dealings. .Carry out duties within the department’s Standing Instructions. .Carry out any other tasks that may be required from time-to-time at the request of the Inside Sales Supervisor or VP of Sales. .Ensure (all team members) compliance with all Company’s policies in all areas of activity including ensuring, as appropriate, that the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley are met. Experience: Min 3 Year previous experience in Internal Sales / Application Engineering / customer service role. Qualifications / Personal characteristics: .Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree would be an advantage. .Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills. .Excellent in both written and verbal communication. .Excellent administrative and prioritization skills. .Computer literate with excellent Microsoft Office Skills. .Prior experience in Building Services / Water Industry would be an advantage. .Prior experience with Industrial products like Valves, Pipes, Fittings, Pumps, Compressors, Chillers, FCUs or BMS etc. would be an advantage.
