Job description: Chase Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Supervisor Curriculum Specialist (Engineer/Science) for our client in the UAE

In the relevant field acts as a Subject Specialist, provides leadership in Curriculum Development, Curriculum Improvement and Implementation and provides support to the School System in the delivery across a range of relevant subject biased Curricula.


Bachelor’s Degree in Relevant Discipline or Education (with Science or Engineering major)
Master’s Degree in Science/Engineering
Teaching Qualification
Computer Literate (IC3 or equivalent)
Additional Relevant Professional Qualifications – an advantage.

Experience Required
10 year experience in Educational Institutions / Industrial Experience
6 years in Teaching
2 years in Curriculum and Assessment Development and Planning
Experience in Competency-based and Interactive Learning Strategies
Managing Budgets and Financial Procedures
Experience with teacher Support
Relevant Industrial Experience – an advantage

Skills Required •
Analytical and Information Organizational
Able to provide consultation and expert advice

English: Fluency in oral and written – ILETS 7.0
Arabic: Good command -desirable

Comply with EHS Policies, Programs and Procedures as per EHSMS-General Framework and take responsibility for any aspect of EHS that they are involved in
Develops quality curriculum and resources for vocational education and training related to a range of subject related requirements

Implements strategy, education and training provision and activities pertinent to requirements
Builds and maintains effective working relationships and professional partnerships
Supports the implementation of outcomes-based teaching, learning and assessment
Develops quality curriculum and resources for vocational education and training in the schools
Implements program quality assurance processes
Committed to innovation in Teaching and Learning initiatives, with a positive “can do” attitude and willingness to promote life-long learning
Applies knowledge of learning paradigm and project based learning
Ensures the use of technologies that support educational development and current with technology development
Responsible for planning, developing and improving the learning resources and assessment tools of the staff and trainees
Works with other team members and the Curriculum /Academic / Vocational Coordinators to implement and continually improve curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment strategies in line with policies and procedures
Develops and facilitates the implementation of curriculum, assessment and project planning with their development teams
Encourages team members to provide ideas and suggestions leading to continuous improvement of local teaching and learning resources and practices
Liaises with the CDU Team Members and the Curriculum / Academic / Vocational Coordinators to ensure information exchange
Manages work and maintains records within the CDU team members and collaborates with other staff in a pro-active manner
Monitors and Reports on the implementation of Quality Assurance and Performance Standards through the use of appropriate learning projects, instructional activities and assessment schedules, in line with agreed quality guidelines
Works with the National Qualification Authority to develop the National Qualification Framework and convert the current curriculum to meet NQF standards
Upholds the Code of Conduct and all school policies
