To manage the Quality Section, its quality insurance related to new equipment’s specifications, manuals, modification, job plan, reports and payment, registration test, certificates, maintenance procedures, etc.
To advise the section head on matter related to training & development of Engineering staff on quality awareness within the section through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation from service providers.
Monitor & review the existing stock policy based on the backlog reports & workshop feedback as and when required in close coordination with the procurement & material management department.
Identifying new testing techniques, tools and strategies to provide quality-related information in order to re-engineer and improve the quality of the process, make it more cost effective.
To conduct annual internal and external audits along with the section managers to ensure that all processes and procedures are in line with the relevant ISO requirement and Engineering department policy.
Conduct & Analyze studies on equipment life cycle, breakdown failures, corrective action in the frame of costing, performance, reliability, efficiency, and benchmark with different brands for future decision making.
Create guidelines/ manuals for quick fix to reduce the breakdown in near future thereby contributing to the operations productivity while collaborating with R&D team to ensure ongoing development.
Maximize equipment reliability, decrease downtime while reducing or eliminating breakdown events through root cause analysis of equipment and technical solutions to provide a sustainable.
Present & make submissions on the performance parameters, development proposals and project progress in order to brief top management.
Provides clear direction, sets targets, prioritizes tasks, and assigns responsibilities the team to achieve section KPIs along with any planned adhoc tasks and projects.
