Job Purpose:

Analyze, study and recommend an integrated, continual sales and production planning process across all Hydrocarbons and it’s derivatives produced in ADNOC to drive annual strategies and long term plans that are adaptive and innovative) including framing overall business approach

Identify business critical opportunities and execute initiatives that will lead to sustainable market growth while ensuring global market alignment.

Collaborate with key stakeholders on an ongoing basis regarding sales & production plans and business needs. Study market trends and develop business cases to support the senior management in Sales & Supply and Group Companies in driving value chain optimization of ADNOCJs products aligned to global market and meeting all domestic market requirements and international supply commitments.

Plan and execute the overall sales & production planning and economic value chain optimization activities of ADNOC’s hydrocarbons and its derivatives ensuring that the company assets are operated in alignment with an optimum, efficient, profitable and responsive Sales Plan and approved MS&T strategies and targets, This includes production planning for crudes, feed stock planning for refining operations, optimization of operations, scheduling and blending of hydrocarbons, refined intermediate and finished products, shipping and distribution of crude and refined products. Review and monitor major projects as well as initiate conceptual studies in line with MST business plan & Strategy.

Coordinate all external interfaces between all stakeholders to enhance ADNOC business reputation as a highly reliable supplier of highest quality Oil & Gas products

Key Accountabilities:
Develop and implement optimum Sales and Production plans in coordination with relevant stakeholders (Sales Teams, Business Line Group Companies, all Functions in MS&T, and other Directorates). This includes production planning, economic analysis and value chain optimization to maximise profit from the ADNOC, in line with the company’s Sales Marketing & Trading business plan.
Manage the preparation of managerial reports and value chain analysis to monitor economic and physical performance of each product sales activities and provide timely guidance to the concerned functions and align all activities to strategic marketing & sales plans and objectives.
Propose new open and flexible sales and production planning principles so the direction of the organization can be adapted to changing circumstances; support Sales & Marketing teams year-round on this approach to optimize resource allocation and optimization
0 Facilitate communication and collaboration among leadership on key Sales activities and milestones. Identify and track strategic key performance indicators to create shared accountability.
Lead the analysis and bring forward ‘gaps’ (e.g. funding gaps, technology gaps, etc.); make strategic recommendations to resolve with key stakeholders.
Identify, execute, and communicate integration and alignment opportunities internationally both within MS&T Directorate as well as with other ADNOC Directorates and Group Companies.
Plan and supervise pricing analytics process for all hydrocarbons and its derivatives produced by ADNOC and track the performance to ensure the pricing strategy is sound and promotional tactics are being optimized.
Ensure that systems are in place to liaise with all operational assets of Refineries regarding capacity planning and detailed scheduling activities.
Ensure that systems are in place to collect relevant information from all related MS&T Functions and Group Companies in order to develop a detailed production plans, which maximizes the production capability of the assets while ensuring all customer demand is met.
Manage delivery of seamless communication with all stakeholders for understanding and effective implementation of sales and production plans.
Ensure that communication channels are in place and effective to capture any production losses (due to turn around and shutdowns etc.) and market demand fluctuation and act in agile and timely manner to optimise the operating plans.
Qualifications. Experience. Knowledge & skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business Administration or equivalent.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
15 years of work experience in Oil and Gas industry, at least 10 of which should have been in Marketing and Sales related to supply chain & trading.
Deep knowledge of Linear Programing (LP), Scheduling & Planning Programs.
