The Digital Learning Implementation Specialist

engages customers within assigned schools to effectively implement Alef Products and Services in support of student, teacher, school leadership and school success.

Key Responsibilities

Job Specific Responsibilities

Customer Service – Builds and maintains customer relationships with school stakeholders, focusing on both school leadership team and teacher relationships to facilitate the effective usage of the Alef Platform to serve their education related needs.

● Champions Alef Education program goals and value propositions for Principals, Teachers, and the overall school community

● Trains school leaders to support effective usage of the platform, the platform data, and other features such as the Academy

● Facilitates and supports the collection and analysis of student and teacher data using a variety of tools to identify gaps and suggest solutions for improvement

● Develops deep understanding of teacher and school leadership needs by anticipating, identifying and promoting opportunities for Alef Education to deliver value added services

● Has an understanding of the competitive landscape within schools and identifies opportunities for Alef Education to better align with the priorities of teachers and school leaders

● Fosters a collaborative culture of open communication, shared ideas and problem solving to enhance teachers’ experience facilitating Alef curriculum and students’ experience learning through it

● Communicates complex customer needs and problems to senior leaders, recommending strategies and solutions that support Alef’s ability to deliver value for the schools

● Efficiently manages and/or escalates customer/school support requests, problems and questions

Platform Utilization & Long Term Adoption – Leads training and support systems that enable teachers’ product utilization and long-term adoption

● Responsible for delivering training and support systems that help teachers and students effectively use Alef solutions

● Drive change management and adoption of new education strategies, content, and product features, maintaining a theme of Continuous Professional Development (CPD)

● Understands and manages SLAs and OLAs to ensure product and service performance meets contractual requirements within assigned schools

● Escalates risk and problems as appropriate to support sustainable utilization and adoption goals

● Reports product issues and problems competently and with appropriate urgency to support sustainable utilization and adoption goals

● Facilitates communication among internal teams regarding opportunities that will enhance teacher utilization and adoption

Customer Success – Aligns education product/service goals and expectations with teacher and school leaders needs and expectations to enable long term product success

● Responsible for delivering coaching and support strategies that help school leadership, teachers and students effectively improve their use of Alef solutions

● Ensure school teachers and administrators receive timely information and are working toward clear goals and action plans in order to proactively manage and improve their classroom experiences

● Analyzes and actions reports to drive user engagement and long term adoption across all assigned schools

● Contributes to regular portfolio reviews, identifying progress and improvement opportunities to close performance gaps

● Provides actionable feedback for improvement/course correction strategies to internal and external teams throughout the organization

Service Delivery Team Success – Collaborates and aligns with cross-functional teams to develop effective processes, tools, and documentation of standards that empower customer success

● Builds collaborative relationships with team members, inviting and facilitating problem solving and idea generation to help empower individual capabilities

● Partners with internal teams to develop and act on ideas that address customer needs through innovative service, training, and support

● Shares feedback with related internal teams to proactively champion customer needs and support feature rollouts and updates

● Contributes to delivery documentation and best practices for internal and external key stakeholders

● Collaborates with team members and teams to ensure consistent delivery and utilization of tools, programs and communication strategies

Self-Leadership – takes initiative to continuously improve personal knowledge and ability to enhance effectiveness and team achievements

● Establishes and understands key responsibility areas, ensuring alignment of objectives and priorities with manager

● Demonstrates continuous learning and growth through a personal sense of inquiry and research to understand and solve problems

● Demonstrates continuous inquiry on educational related topics to maintain a high sense of credibility with our customers

● Maintain depth of knowledge on planning and delivery of platform features, content and experiential learning designed for use by students and teachers

● Maintain depth of knowledge for all content in Alef Academy to ensure a high level of credibility and consistency when communicating across schools

Education, Experience and Required Skills

Educational Qualification

● Advanced degree related to Education in a core subject area (ex. Digital Education, English, Math, Science, or Arabic)

Processes & Practice

● Strong knowledge and usage of educational technology tools in the classroom


● Minimum 3 years teaching experience in K-12 environment

● Previous experience leading PLCs is ideal

● At least 1 year leading teachers in development/instruction of curriculum

● Strong knowledge of instructional strategies, curriculum standards and assessments

● Experience implementing, using, and training on ed tech tools

● Advanced understanding of current emerging practices related to subject area (Arabic, English, Math, and Science)

● Ex pertise in 21st Century Learning Concepts and emerging pedagogies

● Change Agent: ability to work with teachers and school leaders to communicate a clear vision of goals and targeted achievements.

● Relationship Builder; ability to quickly establish credibility, influence and trust with other team members in order to better drive results

● Deadline oriented; ability to articulate priorities and revise plans to meet tight deadlines
