Job description: JOB PURPOSE
Develop, manage and support the Data & Analytics practices of the People Experience team and One HR’. Leverage industry best practices and collaborate with all HR teams and other relevant internal stakeholders,
such as IT and Enterprise Data & Analytics (ED&A).

Through the use of data and analytics enable HR to:
– Achieve efficient and rewarding employee experiences across people lifecycle dimensions, such as workforce planning, performance management, productivity, engagement, recruitment, attrition and retention
– Support Enterprise Strategic Themes such as Business Agility & Efficiency, Business Growth, Data-Driven Decisions and Employee Experience
– Take data-driven people decisions that contribute to business improvement & success
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Own the `people analytics – data product maintenance’. Work with internal HR stakeholders and with ED&A and IT to design, plan and execute enhancements on existing data products and data models as these emanate from recurrent reviews of business needs
· Own the `people analytics’ information products development’. Follow the agreed requirement’s prioritisation and work with internal HR stakeholders and ED&A and IT to define and model key people metrics that drive actionable change, and develop on their appropriate information assets that extract reliable insights from those KPI trends. Collaborate with the EK Group Data Science team to translate complex HR business questions into Data Science (DS) formulations and assess statistics and machine learning-based HR people information products that address those business questions.
· Own the `people analytics – information products maintenance’. Work with internal HR stakeholders, ED&A and IT to ensure uninterrupted production of recurrent reports and dashboards. Design, plan and execute enhancements and metric / KPI improvements on existing information products (dashboards, reports) as these derive from recurrent reviews of business needs.
· Manage the enablement of self-service analytics. Collaborate with ED&A COE to enable HR business stakeholders to gain insights from their data and engage them in data discovery, analysis, visualisation, and exploration. Research best practices and keep abreast of data analytics tools, frameworks and mechanisms to ensure the HR department uses data strategically and smartly.
· Develop people through analytics training and adoption. Develop self and team to work with experienced data scientists and product owners and comment on the quality of their models based on a detailed understanding of business processes and improvement requirements. Inspire and promote the adoption of advanced visualisation and data science analytics across the HR organisation. Work closely with L&T to develop training that multiplies data analytics skills across the wider HR team and facilitate continuous staff development to meet changing business needs and a fluid data landscape.
· Partner with the HR Systems & Technology team and more broadly across HR to influence system designs, enhancements and architecture that support the generation and curation of all necessary data across the employee lifecycle. Within the approved technology roadmap, assist the HR Systems & Technology team in implementing technology solutions that gather data, create models, generate insights, and build dashboards that enable intelligent people decisions.
· Partner with the HR Governance & Compliance team and OR&E to support process improvement and regulatory compliance with the required data and insights. Collaborate with the ED&A Data Governance team to facilitate HR in becoming a pioneering stakeholder of the Enterprise Data Platform, driving Master & Reference Data and Metadata Quality and curating a central corporate glossary of definitions and metrics with content relevant to HR data.
· Own the `people analytics – data product development’. Follow the agreed requirements prioritisation and work with internal HR stakeholders as well as with ED&A and IT to facilitate a well-paced data supply (ingestion) to the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) and a robust and modular HR / People data domain design and implementation in EDP.
· Manage the people analytics demand funnel, and collaborate with both internal (e.g., C&B, HRBP, L&T, etc.) and external stakeholders (e.g. P&L, IT, IA, Legal / DPO, Finance, OR&E, ED&A), whose processes influence the HR data landscape, to extract, refine and prioritise people analytics requirements and educate realistic delivery roadmaps

Qualification
· Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)

Knowledge/Skills
· Degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Operational Research, Commerce, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology etc.
Relevant experience including (but not limited to):
– Industrial Engineering
– Analytics
– Experience with the implementation of transformational initiatives
– Experience in managing an analytics function within a business
– Experience in the airline industry and/or in HR systems and products is desirable
Knowledge/skills:
– Collaborative influencer and constantly look for new ways to partner with teams and individuals from across the company to deliver business benefits
– Ability to build trusted, collaborative relationships and wide networks
– Ability to multi-task and work across various departments with strict deadlines and to navigate competing interests across stakeholders
– Digitally skilful in their everyday work and possess strong analytical skills with proven ability to produce and analyse reports of high quality
– Ability to translate data and insights into actionable information to recommend improvement policies
– Ability to develop specific metrics to guide stakeholders on trends/targets and establish systems to provide governance
– Possess a strong understanding of industry best practices concerning analytics, systems and governance within a large organisation or business unit
– Strong working knowledge of technologies such as Power BI, Microstrategy, SAP BO, SQL and Python
– Clear communication skills, written and verbal
– Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment
